Näihin laitteisiin tulee Airplay 2 -tuki
Applen julkistama iOS-käyttöjärjestelmän versio 11.4 tuo yhtiön mobiililaitteisiin Airplay 2 -tuen. Kyseessä on langattoman Airplay-toistoprotokollan uusi versio, jonka mukana tulee muun muassa monihuonetoisto ja stereoparitusominaisuus.
Ominaisuutta tukee luonnollisesti Applen oma HomePod-älykaiutin, joka tuli myyntiin alkuvuodesta. Airplay 2 on kuitenkin tulossa myös muiden valmistajien laitteisiin. Osa niistä on jo julkaistu aikaisemmin, jolloin ominaisuus tulee ohjelmistopäivityksen kautta.
Alla on Applen julkistama lista laitteista, joihin on tässä vaiheessa luvattu Airplay 2 -tuki. Mukana on myös aiemmin uutisoimamme Denonin, Marantzin ja HEOS:in laitteet. Applen sivuilta löytyy jatkossa ajantasaisin lista yhteensopivista laitteista. Sivulla on myös HomeKit-älykodin kanssa yhteensopivat laitteet.
