A high-quality gimbal keeps the footage sharp by preventing the distortions caused by wind and the drone’s own movement.

Thanks to the various shooting modes and flight automation, aerial photography is also effortless for the novice pilot. Thanks to the camera’s four-fold optical zoom, precise shots can also be taken from further away. Additionally, the camera gimbal tilts down at a full 90 degrees, allowing the drone to easily take vertical shots from above. With the LightCut software, post-processing of images and videos is effortless. The software helps with image cropping and advises on the use of different shooting modes.

Thanks to the intelligent RTH function, the flight is safe. If desired, the drone can be commanded to return to its starting point, at which point the return will take place automatically along a safe route. The drone also returns automatically when the battery reserve is low enough.

The copter comes with the DJI RC-N1 controller, which uses an Android or iOS smartphone and the easy-to-use DJI Fly app. The controller uses the reliable DJI O2 connection, with a range of up to six kilometers at most.

The DJI Mini 2 SE will go on sale in April at a retail price of 369 euros. The price includes 24 percent value-added tax.
