Dutch company Fairphone is preparing to release the Fairbuds XL wireless over-ear headphones. Pictures of the Fairbuds XL headphones and their European retail price have leaked to the public.
The Fairbuds XL is made from environmentally friendly materials and is stylish in design. According to rumors, the headphones should have easy repairability as a feature. Fairphone would, among other things, sell spare parts for the headphones to facilitate repairability. However, it is still unclear what things can be repaired in the Fairbuds XL headphones. Fairphone hopes to reduce its carbon footprint through its electronics waste.
There are two buttons visible on the headphones, but there is no exact information yet on their functionality. The technical details of the headphones have not yet been leaked. Presumably, one of the buttons could be the power button and the other, correspondingly, for noise reduction.
The release date is not yet known, but based on leaked information, the Fairbuds will be sold for 249 euros and is available in black or green.
