Muutamaan Sonyn soundbariin ja AV-viritinvahvistimeen saapuu eARC-päivitys
Sony on ilmoittanut, että muutama sen laitteista saa eARC-ominaisuuden päivityksen välityksellä. Päivittämisen jälkeen laitteet toimivat yhteistyössä eARC-yhteensopivien televisioiden kanssa ja niiden välillä on mahdollista siirtää Dolby Atmos- ja DTS:X -ääntä.
Ominaisuuden saa kolme Sonyn Dolby Atmosta ja DTS:X:ää tukevaa soundbaria: HT-ST5000, HT-ZF9, HT-XF9000. Näistä HT-ZF9 saa myös tuen Alexa-puheohjaukselle. AV-viritinvahvistimista ominaisuus on saatavilla malleihin STR-DH790 ja STR-DN1080.
Jos laitteet on kytketty internetiin, päivityksen pitäisi saapua automaattisesti. Laitteet voi päivittää myös usb:n kautta lataamalla päivitystiedostot Sonyn sivuilta.
