TCL's new NXTPAPER 2.0 display technology
TCL presented new NXTPAPER 2.0 display technology at MWC and the first tablet that uses it. The cheaper Tab 11 with a standard display was also unveiled at the event.
The TCL NXTPAPER 11 is the first device with the new NXTPAPER 2.0 display technology. This technology makes the display panel feel like paper, which is convenient for long use and reduces eye strain. NXTPAPER 2.0 is brighter than its predecessor, and the 10.95-inch LCD display on the NXTPAPER 11 tablet reaches up to 500 nits brightness. The display is coated with a reflective coating to protect it from glare, so the tablet should be comfortable to use even in sunlight.
The TCL NXTPAPER 11 features MediaTek’s Helio P60T system chip and Android 13-based software. Mobile networks are not compatible with the tablet, and only Wi-Fi 5 connections and Bluetooth (5.0) are available. The tablet has an 8-megapixel front camera with a 100-degree field of view, and a total of four speakers and two microphones.
The TCL NXTPAPER 11 weighs 462 grams and is only 6.9 millimeters thick. It is powered by a 8,000 mAh battery that charges in 18 watts using the included USB-C charger.
The new product will be available in Europe in May. Its euro prices have not yet been announced, but the recommended price of 250 US dollars gives an idea. The color options available in the image above are the ones shown here. Accessories such as a Bluetooth keyboard are also coming to market.

At the same time, TCL presented two versions of the new Tab 11 tablet. Technically, they are identical, but only one of the devices supports 4G networks, while the other only supports Wi-Fi connections.
The device has a MediaTek Helio P60T system chip, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. The display size is also the same as the NXTPAPER 11, 10.95 inches, but it does not support NXTPAPER 2.0 technology.
The color options available in the image above are all available. The same 8,000 mAh battery and 8-megapixel front camera as the NXTPAPER 11 are also included. The TCL Tab 11 will also be available in May. The US prices of $180 and $210 (WiFi / 4G + WiFi) help to gauge future euro prices.
