The Sonos app has added the YouTube Music streaming service to its lineup
Sonos has added the Youtube Music streaming service to its app. Therefore, Youtube Music Premium or Youtube Premium subscribers can play content through devices connected to the Sonos system.
In addition, the owners of Sonos One and Beam will be able to control the YouTube service with Google Assistant in the future. Currently, these speakers only support Amazon Alexa voice control.
The YouTube Music streaming service was launched last summer and offers ad-free streaming and offline downloads. Since its release, it has been updated to a nice pace. The service can be added to the Sonos app as a continuation of the impressive list; previously supported services include Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Soundcloud, SiriusXM, and TuneIn.
